Lapcos / September 2021
Zz Shot Launch
&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;&#38;nbsp; After months of development, the Lapcos marketing team had their newest product in hand, 3 sleeping creams called the Zz Shot series. The series was set to launch at the end of September to coincide with the shift to fall and longer nights.

We leaned into the concept of dreams for the launch creating a “Do Not Disturb” door hanger with educational information on the new creams and two QR codes one to the website and the other linked to a Sleepy Sounds playlist, that I curated. The door hangers were added in all retail orders to grab our customer’s attention and drive their curiousity about the new sleeping creams.
Digital Marketing Strategy
 &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;  &#38;nbsp; Digitally we promoted the new creams with teaser posts on social media and via email to our subscribers. We created the teaser in house leaning into trends like texture videos to keep people interested and engaged. To boost awareness and capture potentially interested consumers we collaborated with influencers in the skin care industry to share their thoughts about the new products with their followers.

Wonder Valley / 2022
Newsletter Concept
 &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; While exploring ways to build community and create meaningful content that expands the Wonder Valley world, the Desert Dispatch was born. The dispatch is a monthly email campaign, a “hi dez, lo def, atlas, fanzine, and bulletin board,” of sorts with a focus on desert happenings in and around Joshua Tree that we launched in May 2022. Sections of the campaign include a list of local events, Critter Cam, Desert Street Snap (a fashion profile), Vortex Report featuring weird news and happenings, weather forecast, Moon Calendar with monthly tips, Trail Guides, Staff Picks, and more!

Social Strategy
&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; On Instagram, the focus was to increase engagement, peak interest, and gain new sign ups. On stories, we feature a short story campaign. The first slide announces that the latest dispatch has landed using a feature like polls or sliders to encourage engagement with followers. We’ve used these tools to gauge how many of our followers have seen the dispatch compared with how many aren’t signed up to our newsletter, to see which sections our audience is most excited about, and other times to share excitement with low lift sliders. The second slide always features a sneak peek where we choose one section from the month’s dispatch on stories. The last slide encourages sign ups with a link to easily sign up (or tune in) to the email list.
&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; Since we feature desert events in the newsletter, we find those featured get excited and share about the dispatch on social organically. Their sharing furthers our connection to locals and audiences of like-minded desert brands while expanding our reach organically in a fun and unexpected way.

Calm Moments SeriesInspired by customer feedback praising our slower-paced content, we expanded on the concept to create the Calm Moments&#38;nbsp;series. This approach allowed us to visually immerse our audience in the brand world, connecting with what customers craved from branded content. While not every video showcased a product, the series helped define the brand's aesthetic, influencing other projects, including the launch post for Issue 2 of the Desert Dispatch.

Lapcos / August 2021
Biome Boost Launch
 &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;&#38;nbsp; When Lapcos launched their Biome Boost cream, we knew education had to be front and center. The cream is clinically proven and scientific at heart as it uses probiotics and prebotics to balance the skin’s microbiome to ultimately repair and fortify the skin barrier.
Physical Marketing Collatoral&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;In theme with the educational focus, I personally dove into the clinical study and extracted its findings in a more digestible way. We paired the findings from the study with education on how the product works in a zine that was included in all retail orders to educate our current customers of the brand’s latest innovation.

Digital Marketing Strategy
&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;In the digital space, we leaned into the clinical studies by adding before and after photos and including a simple break down of its findings to the product page. We teased the product launch by creating content that educated on the skin’s microbiome and continued that educational information throughout the launch.&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;To boost brand awareness we collaborated with an array of influencers, including beauty editor Hannah Baxter and skin care enthusiast Rachael Fuss.

Collaborations&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;&#38;nbsp; To spread brand awareness and keep buzz going, we collaborated and partnered with aligned influencers and brands across diverse channels including Instagram, TikTok, events and magazines. Our partnerships have helped us to not only connect with skincare enthusiasts and their audiences, but build out the Lapcos lifestyle within the wellness space.

Booty Mask Launch
 &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;&#38;nbsp; As Lapcos has been growing their body care collection, it only seemed natural for the Booty Mask to follow the launch of the Bikini Mask. We led up to the Booty Mask launch with a summer themed campaign centered on bringing the Lapcos lifestyle to life in a way that spotlighted and personified our body masks. We tied each mask in the collection to a summer activity and way of life with the launch of the Booty Mask capping the campaign.
Physical Marketing Collateral&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;In the theme of the Feels Like Summer campaign, we created a flyer to go in influencer gifting that set the tone of the campaign that included a nostalgic teen magazine style quiz “Which Lapcos product is essential for your summer escapades?” that teased the launch of the Booty Mask.
 Digital Marketing Strategy&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; When launching the Booty Mask, we focused more on lifestyle. We collaborated with influencers on Instagram that either focused on skin care content or could tie the booty mask to more of a lifestyle. In addition, we launched a video testimonial aspect to our website where we could collect and share people’s feedback on the products.

Lapcos / Spring 2021
Website Rebrand
&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; As Lapcos has been elevating its product lineup, the brand needed a digital facelift as well. We completely revamped the website with a new layout that was more playful and colorful, while remaining clean and easy to use.
Imagery&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;The previous website used CAD imagery as their primary product photography which felt a bit fake and cartoonish. To elevate the brand we concepted a shoot using tile boards that we created in house. We shot all of the new photography outside with tile boards utiziling natural light, trying to emulate what it would be like to have our products in your very own chic bathroom.

Copy
&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;To finish the project, we updated the copy on the website so the voice of the brand aligned with the new style, colors and imagery. We focused on keeping the copy upbeat, playful, and approachable, breaking down educational content in a clear way while speaking more directly to our target audience.

Lapcos / May 2021
Here for You Campaign&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; As May marks Mental Health Awareness Month and AAPI Heritage Month, Lapcos teamed up with Mono B to raise awareness around these communities and topics, especially during a time of significant challenge within the AAPI community. We created the Here For You campaign to spotlight mental health especially within the AAPI community.&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;For the month of May, Lapcos and Mono B donated 10% of their profits to the Asian Mental Health Collective to continue the work in breaking the stigma around mental health within the community.

 &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; Lapcos created TLC Kits with an assortment of 3 Lapcos sheet masks labeled with a message embracing self care that were included in all Lapcos and Mono B retail orders for the month to inspire some extra tender loving care. In addition, we created a card in all retail orders promoting the cause.
Digital Marketing Strategy
&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;To raise awareness digitally, Lapcos and Mono B collaborated with influencers within the AAPI community, micro and macro alike, sending them self care packages with skin care products from Lapcos and athleisure sets from Mono B. Influencers were prompted to share what self care looked like for them however they felt most comfortable. This helped us further conversations aroud Mental Health within the AAPI community online and work towards breaking the stigma.
